Soooo, i’ve been super busy of late and I’m just catching up with all the fashion week(s) looking for inpiration for my smaller budget. Then I see this….Lindsay Lohan/Ungaro…are they mental?! Artistic advisor…what an insult to the designer. I am aware that this is probably old news but still you’re getting my reaction, albeit late, very late!
I love what NYmag reported:
“The Times had the pleasure of hanging out with Lohan in the Ungaro office:
The day before the show, Ms. Lohan was staring at herself in a mirror in Ungaro’s grand offices on the Avenue Montaigne, a stone’s throw from the ateliers of Yves Saint Laurent, Givenchy and other famous French labels. She picked up a black and white scarf and tied it around her head, then replaced it with a black one, and then clumsily stuck a red sequin-covered heart to the side of her head while a team of designers watched her…
“This is just so cool,” Ms. Lohan said, turning her attention to a white minidress splattered with sequins. “It needs more rhinestones, just so it pops.” Off to the seamstress it went. Pointing to another white dress, she said: “I call it Michelle Pfeifer in ‘Scarface.’ I was just in my office sketching for next season. I was here until, like, one o’clock last night.”

The world is spinning…
Jeez, September has been so busy! I need to slow down, leave work at work and just relax.
I took these photos in Central London last Thursday night (how co-ordinated is the girl in pink?!), it sums up how I’m feeling and reminds me of the bit in the Wizard of Oz when the witch is cycling in the tornado….queue cackle

Floral fingers
Last night as I was watching tv, fidgeting with my ditsy floral dress, wrapping it around my hands (fidget, fidget, fidget)…I looked down and realised that ditsy floral gloves can be added to my (ever growing) Autumn wishlist. I was hoping someone on etsy had already made some but no. Point me in the right direction…

Is Sunday date day?
It seems like for the past few weeks Sunday has been ‘date day’. A lovely breakfast, a hefty lunch and a cheeky beer (or 2). Long walks and photographs fill the gaps. Sunday is the new Saturday night…for us at least.
